London Wheat Report

Strong winds from Storm Pia are disrupting Christmas travel – with a Met Office yellow warning for wind in place for many parts of the UK.
The European Union said on Wednesday it would begin an anti-dumping investigation into biodiesel imports from China, which the bloc’s industry says has slashed domestic production. In August, it began investigating whether biodiesel from Indonesia was circumventing EU duties by going through China and Britain.
Markets were pretty flat today, Matif wheat and rape were knocking in and around yesterday’s settlement. US wheat markets similar. Beans did get a seeing to and were down 20 odd cents at the time of writing. London had a busier day than the first three of the week with around 350 lots crossing the line across the curve. Both May and Nov 23 were up today.
