MORNING LIVESTOCK FUTURES OUTLOOK
CATTLE COMPLEX
Feeder cattle are leading live cattle higher. Placements have been dismal. The largest beef demand time is approaching.
On top of Cattle on Feed numbers down and the low placements, with the current tariffs, the US is importing less beef.
PORK COMPLEX
Cash pork and cash hog prices have been steadily working lower. Part of the reason is the slowdown on US exports. Global hog producing countries such as the EU and Brazil have been setting new trade agreements with other global countries and US pork is being pushed aside.
