MORNING LIVESTOCK FUTURES OUTLOOK
CATTLE COMPLEX
Trade volume was mediocre Tuesday. October moved down to the 5 day moving average and from December on out, it was just quick profit taking and adding longs into 2026 with spreads.
No surprise feeder cattle were as strong as they were Monday. 10% lower placements is a big deal.
PORK COMPLEX
October lean hogs are $4.46 under the CME Lean Hog Index as of September 23, 2025
