MORNING LIVESTOCK FUTURES OUTLOOK
LIVE CATTLE
LC trade volume for a few weeks has been light to moderate but Wednesday there was an increase in volume. On May 3rd the Monthly US Livestock and Meat trade report will be released. Expect increasing beef, feeder cattle, breeding cattle imports to the U.S.
LEAN HOGS
The pork market is showing strength for loins. Over the past 5 days, loins have moved up every day. Bellies were down 9.57 on morning sales. Thursday’s exports will be important. Last week’s exports were down 25% from the 4 week average.
